AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The College aims at bringing the fruits of Higher Education to the students of Galsi Mahavidyalaya. Since the college is located in a remote place surrounded with at around 120 villages, the college aims to ensure the best form of Higher Education to mostly the first generation learners;
Since the college is located in a minority belt with mostly first generation learners we are committed to encourage the minority students and specially the minority girls towards higher education;
To create research ambience in the college as without new researches any institution of higher education would never be flourished;
To impart quality education for holistic development of the students
To nourish leadership quality among the students;
To motivate the students for research activities and to build in them a cognitive mind that can process the reality around the world from an intellectual outlook;
To encourage innovative and ICT based teaching and learning;
To encourage students to think differently on various contemporary issues beyond their stipulated syllabus periphery;
The college aims at ensuring all round development of the students through various co-curricular activities such as outdoor and indoor sports, cultural exchanges, various competitive exhibitions & wall magazine;
To develop in the students a sense of environmental consciousness and awareness. For this purpose several talks, specials drives on tree plantation programme, water harvesting infrastructure, E-Waste management, Medicinal tree plantation etc will be conducted;
