Scholarships and Freeships

Scholarship is a form of financial aid awarded to students for the progress of future education. Generally, scholarships are awarded based on a set of criteria such as academic merit, diversity and inclusion, athletic skill, and financial need.
Scholarship criteria usually reflect the values and goals of the donor of the award, and while scholarship recipients are not required to repay scholarships, the awards may require that the recipient continue to meet certain requirements during their period of support, such as maintaining a minimum grade point average or engaging in certain activities like sports and cultural events.
Depending upon their eligibility the students of Galsi Mahavidyalaya can avail of various Government scholarships like Kanyashree, Oasis, SVMCM, Aikyashree, Nabanna, NSP etc They can also avail non-government Scholarshipsif otherwise they are eligible.

Financial Assistance in the form of half freeship and full freeship in tuition fees is provided to economically marginalized students from the StudentsAidFundsubject to its availability, regularity of the students, their academic performance etc, in case they do not receive any government or non-government scholarships as per the policy documents of scholarships and freeships.

5.1.1: Percentage of students benefited by scholarships and freeships provided by the institution, governmentand non-government bodies, industries, individuals, philanthropists during the last five years
