Keeping in mind that to teach is to touch a life forever, Galsi Mahavidyalaya believes in holistic education that encompasses academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life-skills learning. As we venture ahead in this spectacular valley of making the future citizens of the country, our endeavour is to strike a balance between state-of-the-art- infrastructure and a robust curriculum under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 that opens the door to global platforms for our students. It is said that “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Firmly believing in our core values of Courage, Compassion, Equality and Integrity we at Galsi Mahavidyalaya aim to nurture our students so that they are well equipped to face the competitive society with value-based knowledge and skills that have contributed towards the growth and vision in building global citizens and a conscientious humanity.The college is not just a platform for performance but it is also a community which promote collaborative or participatory learning through community-oriented activities.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the family of Galsi Mahavidyalaya, which since its inception in the year 2007 has been widening its horizons in the field of arts education in the locality. A new academic year brings with it a fresh batch of young learners. I extend a hearty welcome to all the students who are being admitted to our esteemed institution. It is necessary for the student community to realize that the journey from the world of learning to the world of earning is not the same as it was some years back. They need to showcase their employment skills which I believe cannot be taught but only be developed with time. We have to continue to move ahead for producing and maintaining the best. I also take this opportunity to call upon all the stakeholders to help us realize our dream of transforming this college into a centre for educational excellence so that this college is able to give academically accomplished, socially conscious, morally sound and economically resourceful individuals who are a model for the society and an asset for the country.
